“ First time trying and it was absolutely amazing, the food was delicious. The beautiful lady who served me even gave me a free coke when I was getting ready to leave. Ill definitely be coming back. ”
“ Everything here was DELICIOUS. I ordered the seafood sundubu with fried mackerel and my boyfriend ordered dumpling sundubu and barbecue chicken and not a single thing disappointed. Even every single banchan dish was my favorite! The cucumbers, and glass noodles, and potato especially the rice is the good kind and purple, and you can get hot tea for free instead of water. The mackerel was buttery and melted in your mouth. The sundunbu came with an egg and plenty of both dumplings and seafood pieces. I will most definitely be coming back and I highly recommend to anyone trying to find a generous, worth your money, homey Korean restaurant. A new favorite. ”
“ The service is fast the Bibimbap without meatbulgogi is yummy! The lady server is so quick and knows how to get down without anyone just her! Thats difficult but she does it! The Banchan was yummy all the way around. No complaints here!! Pleasant spot to eat and good music!! ”
“ I shared tofu seafood pancake and galbi combo with my friend. All the dishes were so delicious! I ordered a fish dish and it was the best fried fish Ive tasted, so crispy and fresh. The tofu soup was good as well. I loved the kind and friendly service. ”
“ The food here is exceptional. We loved everything we ordered. Good service. The galbi is cooked and seasoned well. Soon tofu soup can be ordered from not spicy to spicy. Everything comes out hot and sizzling. The fried fish was hot and fresh. Overall great experience and food. ”
“ I absolutely had a pleasure eating at tofu village. I ordered the beef soup. My wife order the seafood combo, and we finish everything. The broth was rich full of flavor I cant wait to come back here again when it starts getting colder as it would be the meal that puts me to sleep. The reason why Ill come back is because the service was superb on top of the food tasting so good. ”
“ Man, this is absolutely a phenomenal restaurant. Im running behind for work, but this place is so amazing that Im taking time to write this review. If you look at my picture, I got all this for less than 20 for lunch. So many side dishes and the main dish was delicious! You have to come try this place if you want great food with awesome service. Thank you so much to everyone here. Wow!!! ”
“ Lets be real, sometimes restaurant names escape me. But when my wife says Korean soup place with all the Korean senior citizens, I instantly remember she means Tofu Village in Gardena. Heres the thing if you walk into a Korean restaurant and its filled with Korean senior citizens, you know the food is legit. And Tofu Village? Its always bustling with them, which is a testament to the authentic, soulwarming dishes they serve. Their specialty is Soon Tofu, and its honestly the best value on the menu. A bubbling hot stone bowl filled with flavorful broth, silky tofu, and your choice of protein Im a beef guy, through and through? Its pure comfort food. But the real star of the show, in my opinion, is the banchan. Those unlimited vegetable side dishes? Theyre a feast in themselves! Fresh, flavorful, and constantly refilled. And even when you order to go, they dont skimp. They pack up little aluminum foil containers with the best of the bunch, which is a thoughtful touch. Tofu Village isnt fancy, and it doesnt need to be. Its authentic, delicious, and makes you feel good from the inside out. Its a 5star experience, and Ill keep coming back for that warm, comforting bowl of Soon Tofu. And those banchan, of course! ”
